Received Signal Strength Indicator

Received Signal Strength Indicator, the wide-band received power within the relevant channelbandwidth. The higher the RSSI value the stronger the received signal is. The RSSI includes signals from the active cell, adjacent cells and the noise. In UMTS, the measurement applies to FDD and TDD across the 5 MHz band in the allocated channel.
